The Museum in Docklands

Isle of Dogs, London

The Museum in Docklands is London’s newest large museum. Situated on the Isle of Dogs, in the shadow the city’s banking district, the museum tells the epic story of London’s river, port and docks.

We worked closely with the design and curatorial team to create a series of integrated media programmes for the various galleries, which are spread over four floors of a 19th century sugar warehouse. The programmes included 18 touchscreen interactives, 12 audio soundscapes, and a total of 27 films and video installations.

Among the films was the documentary ‘Black Saturday’ which can be seen below, and which tells the story of the devastating and relentless bombing of the docks during the Second World War.
